Skype has turned classrooms into a global learning environment as cultures are colliding like never before and distance is simply no longer an obstacle. As a result, schools are expanding their classrooms to a worldwide audience, with both students and teachers saving time and money on travel costs.
The model of teaching we use at our school is PPP (Presentation, Practice, Production). The “Three Ps” approach to language teaching is the most common modern teaching model employed by professional schools around the world.
In the first stage, the instructor presents students with new information which is presented in sufficient detail. The instructor uses a lot of visuals to help students to see correct usage.
The second stage is to fully reinforce the new language where our instructors use worksheets, games and reading exercises.
The final stage is the most important stage of PPP model. Students make the transition from “students” to “users” of the language. They naturally use what they have learned on the previous stages and synthesize new examples, either in written or spoken form.
Our online lessons are balanced. A balanced lesson draws elements from various categories: language skills, language systems groupings, and learning styles. In planning a class, our trainers include activities taking into account each category. Throughout the course, they make sure they focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Students prefer different learning styles. Some feel comfortable learning by watching and listening, whereas others feel they cannot learn unless they take down notes and analyze rules. Our class “menu” takes this into account as well.
Skype gives you the opportunity to take your language class anytime, anywhere. More flexibility and convenience than traditional lessons are guaranteed with Skype
